This presentation was made to the monthly meeting of the Association of Social Science Researchers in Wellington on the 2nd June 2010.

The presentation summarises some of the results from the MERA working paper (refer here) and then goes on to look at some sample statistics on estimated hourly income of incomes for NZ "social scientists" on a decile range basis using 1996 and 2001 census data.
